NoSQL Engineer / Developer
Job Description
As part of a team to develop the next data architecture for a large government agency, the NoSQL engineer will provide support for NoSQL instances, Java development to NoSQL stores, extract-transform-load (ETL) process development/integration, development of web services (REST; SOAP) backed by NoSQL, and/or other general NoSQL / software development support.
Required skill sets include:
1+ years of NoSQL development (MongoDB, CouchDB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, ?)
1+ years of Java development
familiarity with NoSQL integration and development
excellent communication skills (phone, email, writing)
excellent work habits
availability during core work hours on-site
Preferable skill sets include:
3+ years of NoSQL
experience in administering/maintaining NoSQL clusters/instances
expertise in at least one (1) NoSQL store
